To Dearest foundrymen,
As a great country in the East with a history of 5,000 years, China's foundry industry, with a long history and numerous brilliant cultural inheritances, and has made outstanding contributions to the development of the global foundry industry. China conducts close communication and cooperation with major countries and regions in the world foundry industry, and establishes profound friendship with them. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, under the correct leadership and support of the Chinese government, China's foundry industry has maintained steady and orderly development, and has become the largest foundry production base and also the largest foundry consumption market in the world.
In 2010, we successfully held the 69th World Foundry Congress in Hangzhou, China, which was an unprecedented event. Fourteen years later, in 2024, we are about to welcome the 75th World Foundry Congress. The theme of this Congress is "DEVELOPING FOUNDRY ". We believe that under the leadership and support of the WFO, and with the joint efforts of all the colleagues in the Chinese foundry industry, we will definitely dedicate a great carnival in the global foundry industry for you again.
In 2024, the 75th World Foundry Congress will be held in China. Hereby, on behalf of the organizer of this Congress - Foundry Institute of Chinese Mechanical Engineering, I sincerely invite colleagues from the foundry industry to attend this event, to explore the trend and future of the global foundry industry, make friends and seek common development!
