2024 "Shengquan Cup" International Foundry Photography Contest is hosted by Foundry Journal Agency and co-organized by Jinan Shengquan Group Co., Ltd.. The photography contest is aimed to record the fantastic moments in work and life through camera, demonstrating the aesthetic and spiritual levels of foundrymen. As one of the activities of the 75th World Foundry Congress (WFC 2024), the awarded photographic works will be presented on site of WFC 2024, and the organization committee of WFC 2024 will also hold an award ceremony for the photography contest.
WFC 2024, hosted by World Foundry Organization(WFO) and organized by Deyang Municipal People's Government, Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, China Foundry Association, National Key Laboratory of Advanced Casting Technologies, will be held on 25th to 30th October, 2024, with a slogan of “Developing Foundry”. Hereby we invite the global foundrymen to submit the photographic works and welcome your active participation.

1.Scope of Submission
The photographic works shall reflect one of followings:
(1)Green metal casting, low-carbon factories and intelligent metal casting.
(2)The scenes of scientific research and production process in the foundry industry.
(3)The spirits of the metal casting workers.
(4)The spirits of the employees in the foundry service institutes.
(5)The scenes of foundry industrial service.
(6)Folk culture and Scenery (Notice: the award will be established in a single item)

3.Requirements and Notices
(1)Photographic works can be in color or monochrome. If the photography is an electronic document, the file size should not be less than 3M;
(2)The photos can not be spliced, but can be cropped and adjusted in color without the change of the original expression of the photos.
(3)For camera group, the photographic works can be submitted in single or group photos, with a maximum of 8 photos for the single and no more 6 photos per group. While the submission, please remark the submission files with the name of photographic works, author name, company and mobile phone number.
(4)For mobile phone group, each person can submit no more 3 photographic works. And you shall remark the submission files with the the name of photographic works, author name, company and mobile phone number.
(5)For folk culture and scenery group, each person can submit no more 3 photographic works. And you shall remark the submission files with the the name of photographic works, author name, company and mobile phone number.
(6)The candidates shall fill the “Application Form for International Foundry Photography Contest”.(Please scan the following QR code to download, or contact Ms.Wang via 1036387943@qq.com to request the application form)
(7)The host and organizers shall be entitled to have the right to use the photographic works in related activities (exhibition, brochures, advertisements, websites, media reports, et al.) without any addition remuneration.
(8)If the works involves portrait rights, copyrights, confidential matters or reputation disputes, the author shall be responsible for these.
(9)All the works will not be returned, so the authors shall save the backups of the photos.
(10)The photographic works, won other awards before, shall not be accepted.
